Today (July 6th) is historically a tough day for me. It holds on a painful reminder of what was taken some years ago. And on each passing year, I try my best to share stories and experiences that I had with a hero…
On July 6th of 2008, Private Colin WIlmot was killed while on mission in Afghanistan. I knew this man. Served with this man. Drank beer, shared laughs and even cried with this man. He was and remains one of the most important figures in my life.
And to segue on from there, I light the Blue Jays baseball club up for their apathy and disregard for one of their city’s heroes. Stick around and have a listen to this episode of, A Medic’s Mind.
